Chief Executive Officer for Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Commey has noted that the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis has made him realize there is no life without football.
The deadly disease which originated from the City of Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China has gone on to spread to almost every corner of the world in the last 5 months.
Ghana has not been spared by what has been described as a pandemic with the country recording over 6,000 cases. Though more than 1,000 people have recovered, the scary and rampant nature of its spread means that the football season remains suspended.
While there is no certainty as to when football will return, Albert Commey says he is badly missing the sport. According to him, the current situation has made him realize that football is his life.
“I miss the game a lot as an administrator. I have realized that without football there is no life. Most of revenue has been coming from the gate but with no football clubs are suffering”, the former Aduana Stars CEO told Kumasi-based Angel FM.
Albert Commey hopes the Covid-19 storm will soon pass to ensure clubs can finally get over all the challenges presented by the disease.
