Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey has revealed that he will pursue a career in automobile engineering when he retires from football.
The right-back has burst into the local scene this year after putting up an outstanding performance for the Porcupine Warriors in the Ghana Premier League.
In the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis which has forced the suspension of the football season, Christopher Nettey has opened up on his dream to become an automobile engineer.
“The truth is that I was a brilliant student during my SHS days which wooed my father to push me to hit the highest point on the academic ladder”
“I’ve not closed that chapter, I want to become an engineer in the future, and I will still work on it to live in that aspirations”, the full-back said in an interview.
He added, “I studied Automobile engineering in a Secondary school and that is where I would want to build myself”.
The Attram de Visser Soccer Academy product made 13 appearances in the Ghana Premier League for the Reds before the season was suspended.
